What We Do

Through our combined program of 5 video sessions and 6 personalised online coaching sessions, we equip leaders to drive change even before they have funding or support from the top.

Renewalists learn how to:

​

accurately identify the most hidden barriers to change in their context;

work around their gatekeepers and blockers to change;

lead change with the language of love, rather than force or coercion;

develop a 3-year strategic plan that has high buy-in; and

make the process fun!

How to Qualify

Becoming certified as a Renewalist is pretty straightforward.

First, you’ll download The Renewal Course videos and work through them in your own time, at your own pace. There are recommended readings, but no formal assessments. Once you’ve completed the introduction, you’ll meet with your coach to put a personalised plan into action across six coaching sessions.

You’re in the driver’s seat of your own learning. We’ll work with you to set the pace, aligning each session with your goals and needs.

Systemic Renewal is a research methodology that systemically renews that mindset of a system. It does this at the individual (micro), organisational (meso) and societal (macro) levels of experience simultanously.

Our No-Fee Strategy

We are a social enterprise, founded with a vision to support leaders in disadvantaged settings.

Inspired by the example of the early Franciscan movement, we aren’t interested in making profit out of supporting disadvantaged communities. We rely on donations to advance our mission. As such, we do not have set fees for our services, but invite you, as a participant, to personally discern the commitment you will make to our common purse. Our staff are not paid a salary, but receive a stipend of $55 AUD an hour, to meet their living expenses, in proportion to their service time.

 

When you meet with your coach you can nominate your contribution to the Academy for Systemic Renewal. It may be, that your earning capacity, in your nation and sector, means you will commit much less than the cost to us. That is okay. It may be, that you are in a position to sponsor others and sow more generously into the vision.
